County commissioners and Judge Tab Thompson took care of a few housekeeping items in a special called meeting Monday.
Commissioners approved a number of line item transfers for the 2012-13 budget. Thompson said this was common at the end of a fiscal year.
In other business, the court approved the HVAC bid including all county buildings and the Otiz maintenance contract for the county courthouse elevator. John Wooley, Erath County facilities director, recommended the county continue using the same company as they've used since the elevator was installed in 1986 for maintenance.
Commissioners also discussed the trade out on property on County Road 284 in the county for gravel. Dee Stephens said the owner of the property wants nothing for the gravel, but the county will have to build a road into the property to get the gravel.
