No. 8 Dublin has returned to its dominant self, winning its fourth straight Friday afternoon. The Lady Lions also swept their third straight match.
Dublin's latest victim was Keene, 25-6, 25-12, 25-6, at Roy and Lynn Gym.
"Our chemistry was spot on tonight," said Dublin head coach Ryan Lewis. "Everyone played together and we were firing on all cylinders."
The Lady Lions were paced by Sunny Clark with 10 kills and Jazmine Zapata with nine. Keili Cannon didn't need a full-length match to rack up 30 digs.
Dublin's last pre-district match - and the first of three straight road matches - is at Godley Tuesday. The varsity match should begin around 6 p.m. following a 5 p.m. junior varsity match.
Eastland hosts the Lady Lions in the District 7-2A opener for both teams next Saturday. The match should begin about noon following a 10 a.m. start to sub-varsity play.
Dublin concludes its road swing at reigning 7-2A champ Breckenridge on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The Lady Lions finished second behind Breckenridge last year before being eliminated by Henrietta in the opening round of the playoffs.
Dublin doesn't return home until Hawley visits on Saturday, Oct. 12.
