The rumbling from the motorcycles you will hear on Oct. 26 will all be for a good cause when local enthusiasts ride in the 3rd Annual Museum Motorcycle Ride benefiting the Stephenville Historical Museum's Oxford House Preservation Project.
The event will begin with registration and donuts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26. The entry fee will be $20 per bike and kickstands will go up at 10 a.m. The ride will last between two and three hours through Erath County. The event also will include a 50/50 raffle and lunch.
J.B. Wilson, the man in charge of the event, invites the public to come out and support local historic restoration.
"We want everyone to come out and have a good and pleasant Saturday ride through the beautiful country side and help the Oxford House be preserved," he said.
