Dublin quickly disposed of Evant Tuesday night, 25-11, 25-18, 25-20, for the Lady Lions' third straight win.
"We are focused on dominating our opponents, and we did that first set," said second-year Dublin head coach Ryan Lewis. "We relaxed a little in the second and third, but our defense was good and our hitting was more consistent than Friday."
Keili Cannon paced the defensive effort with 30 digs, an impressive average of 10 per set. Sunny Clark dished out 13 assists, most going to Jazmin Zapata or Faith Faulkner, who led Dublin with nine kills each.
The Lady Lions host Keene at about 5 p.m. today following a 4 p.m. junior varsity match.
