Henderson Junior High's volleyball D teams split with Lingleville Monday evening, with the Honeybees winning the seventh grade affair, 25-13, 24-26, 25-13, and the Lady Cardinals soaring to victory in the eighth grade battle, 25-15, 25-23.

The seventh graders from HJH were led by Tayleigh Pendleton with nine points. Victoria Monreal had six points and four aces, Courtney McGuire added six points and three aces and Hannah Whittet contributed six points and one ace. Destinee King collected four points and two aces, Mallory Gunter scored four times and Alyssa Northcutt added three points while acing one serve. Alissa Davis scored twice on aces, Anahi Rivas had two points and Jade Pepau added one.

Allysa Ebeling led HJH's eighth graders with five points, while Jesica Dammers added four. Landry Stroebel contributed three points, Hailey Chandler and George Jones scored two each and Calli Schmutz, Taylor Harpole, Lucy Tackett, Sidney Love and Mattie Hardcastle all had one.
