Tarleton State won six of seven sets and dominated its opening two matches in Lone Star Conference play at Wisdom Gym.
The TexAnns (7-4, 2-0) swept Midwestern State (7-4, 0-3), winning 25-15, 25-16, 25-13 Saturday, less than 24 hours after toppling Cameron (Okla.) (4-7, 0-3) in four sets on Friday.
Stacie Murrah collected 2 kills in Saturday's abbreviated victory. Katie Covell had eight kills and six digs and Jazmine Green also had eight kills.
Danielle Barker racked up 38 assists, while Emily Klein had 15 digs.
Friday's victory was celebrated in comeback fashion, as Cameron took the opening set, 20-25. Tarleton quickly dispelled any concerns, however, rolling up wins of 25-19, 25-18 and 25-18 to claim the victory.
Green's career-best 14 kills paved the way for Tarleton, while Murrah and and Covell each added 12. Kovell also led the team with 17 digs while Barker had 43 assists.
The TexAnns host St. Mary's at 7 p.m. Tuesday, and resume LSC play at Texas A&M-Kingsville on Friday.
