"Cruzin' for a Cause" motorcycle ride and fundraiser benefiting Relay For Life took place Saturday morning at Stephenville City Park. Between 30-40 bike enthusiasts attended the event.
Danny Voucher, the man in charge of the event, said, "It's an awesome feeling knowing everyone cares about the cancer society and Relay For Life. It just brings everyone together and we get to have a little bit of fun in the process."
The bike ride began in May and as far as Voucher knows the entire event is unique to the area.
"A bunch of us guys who ride thought about a way to raise money doing something we like so this is it," he said.
The riders competed in a best in show event, among other bike games. They rode throughout Palo Pinto County while enjoying Fall-like weather.
J.R. Hogg, an attendee at the event, said he was glad to be part of the event.
"The whole thing is great. We all have a lot of fun riding together. We just really enjoy it," he said. "It's just awesome to see everyone who shows up for an event like this."
