Cross Timbers Family Services is a Victims’ Service agency providing hope, help and healing to all victims of crime including domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse.

Volunteer advocate training prepares volunteers to assist victims in a crisis. Volunteers allow the agency to provide services to victims 24 hours a day. Without volunteer participation, the needs of the community could not be met.

It is a requirement that all potential volunteers go through an intense training. This training will cover topics of domestic violence, sexual assault, victims’ advocacy and criminal justice issues.

Volunteer training begins Oct. 1.
