Henderson Junior High made sure there was playing time all around when it split up its seventh and eighth grade D volleyball teams for a recent trip to Clyde.

The eighth grade 'D1' Honeybees won 25-13 and 2-18. Lucy Tackett was a force with 10 points, while Jessica Dammers contributed seven. Jobye Bulla added two points, and Mariana Rios had one.

In eighth grade 'D2' action, the Bees beat Clyde 25-14 and 25-14. Allysa Ebeling paved the way with 10 points and three aces. She had plenty of help from George' Jones with five points, Matie Hardcastle with four and an ace, Kindall Manning with three points and Taylor Harpole, Ashlie Crosswhite and Landry Stroebel with one each. Stroebel had an ace.

Stephenville won the seventh grade 'D1' match 25-20 and 25-14. Lindsey Powell racked up nine points and two aces while Hannah Whittet scored six points and aced one serve. Tayleigh Pendleton added two points and an ace, and Victoria Monreal and Alyssa Northcutt had two points each.

The seventh grade 'D2' team made it a four-match sweep for HJH, winning 26-24 and 25-9. Mallory Gunter had four points and three aces, Alissa Davis and Kendall Osman each added three points and an ace and Anahi Rivas, Rylle Marrett and Destinee King scored one point each.
