Ghosts and goblins won't be the only new sights around Dublin next month. Residents will have to get used to a new trash pickup schedule in October, according to city officials.

Dublin city secretary Rhonda Williams released a statement this week announcing that Progressive, the city's garbage pickup service, will be changing the pickup schedule. Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 2, all trash will be picked up on Wednesday.

The west side of town is currently picked up on Wednesday and the east side of town is picked up on Thursday.
