For months students at Stephenville ISD campuses have been working on a 20-minute Broadway-style show for the Texas Association of School Administrators/Texas Association of School Boards Convention in Dallas at the end of the month.

SISD Superintendent Dr. Darrell Floyd will be the incoming president of the association.

To practice for the big show, students from across the district are performing on various campuses and other locations around town including a performance for the Optimist Club on Sept. 25.

"This is an incredible opportunity for the students to perform their production for the community," said Emily McLemore who is one of 13 on the production staff.

The performers will put on the show for Chamberlin and Hook on Tuesday, Sept. 17, as well. The show includes students from all campuses and highlights SISD academics, arts, athletics and agriculture programs.

"SISD staff have been working on this production for more than a year and 100 students from K through 12 have been working tirelessly over the summer to bring you an incredible production about Stephenville ISD," McLemore said.

So make plans to join SISD students, faculty and staff on Sunday for a free performance in the JC Helm Auditorium located in Stephenville High School. Doors will open at 2:40 p.m. and the show will start at 3. Be sure and get there early to get a good seat.
