Operation Christmas Child speaker Livia Satterfield will share how a simple shoebox gift changed her life and how Stephenville residents can impact the lives of needy children, all around the world, through a simple gift.
The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church.
Once an orphan living in Romania, Satterfield now lives in the United States and travels around the county sharing her story.
Stephenville residents will gather to celebrate the estimated 9,400 gift-filled shoeboxes that will be collected this year for needy kids from local participants.
Through Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, Stephenville volunteers will help make Christmas a little brighter for children in more than 100 countries.
