Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Comanche, Erath and Hamilton County will host a Rangeland Field Day on Tuesday, Sept. 24 2 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at an Extension research demonstration site located near Priddy. The demonstration site includes different herbicides applied to rangeland for weed control, reseeded vegetation plots and individual plant treatment of prickly pear.  Three hours of CEUs (continuing education units) will be offered to those in attendance with a Texas Department of Agriculture Private Applicator License.

To get to the site, take Hwy. 16 toward Priddy, just before you get to Priddy take FM 218, go 3.6 miles and then go straight onto Co Rd 638, 638 will turn into Comanche County road 254, after traveling 1.5 miles from 218 you will see the field day location on the left.
