The Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council is featuring an exhibit this fall from the collection of artist Linda Ballantine Brown at Clark Field Regional Airport.
Brown, a Florida resident, specializes in oil paintings. She raises cattle and horses on her ranch and focuses her art on the livestock and landscape.
"I like to focus on the western agricultural way of life," Brown said. "My work helps the viewer see into the intimate world of horses and cattle and what they're about. It's just a very interesting perspective of cutters and cattle that not many have seen before."
The paintings are not just featured on canvas. Brown also produces a clothing line that features 100% silk clothing and T-shirts with her artwork featured as the print.
The gallery opened Sept. 3 and will run through Dec. 20. A reception will take place from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24.
