1 - Roller Derby action at Lone Star Arena
The Cowboy Capital Roller Girls are hosting a bout against the Wichita Falls Derby Dames at 8 p.m. Saturday at Lone Star Arena. Tickets are $10 in advance and $14 for VIP trackside and $12 at the door. Kids 10 and under get in free. All proceeds benefit CASA for the Cross Timbers Area. 2 - Whiskey Myers plays City Limits
Come out to City Limits and enjoy food and drink specials while listening to cool tunes by Whiskey Myers Saturday. Tickets are $12 pre-sale and $15 the day of the show. Doors open at 8 p.m. For more information or tickets, call City Limits at 968-5222.
3 - Run for Recovery
The fourth annual Run for Recovery 5K to benefit the STAR Council on Substance Abuse will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at Stephenville City Park. Entry fees for adults 18 and up are $30, TSU students are $20, youth runners are $15 and groups of five or more are $15 per person. Registration and check-in begin at 8 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. For more information, contact STAR Council at 965-5515.
4 - CTFAC hosts art exhibit
The Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council River North Gallery is featuring an exhibit by Mary Waters and her students. The gallery will open at 9 a.m. Saturday. For more information, call CTFAC at 965-6190.
