Lingleville continues to show improvements, defeating a Graford team in four sets Tuesday night that had previously knocked off the Lady Cardinals in five.

Lingleville won 25-17, 25-21, 18-25, 25-21 at home Tuesday after dropping their opener to Graford on the road in their previous battle.

"Taylor Stevens has stepped up and is hitting very well and Chelsea Hicks was extremely strong (Tuesday) passing and hitting. Maranda Conatser set and hit well," said first-year Lingleville head coach Laura Kouns. "Our team as a whole has really tepped up and become unified. We're working together towards a goal."

The Lady Cardinals are idle Friday and visit Mullin next Tuesday. Sub-varsity play begins at 5 p.m.
