A brutal economy continues to squeeze wedding budgets, making innovative approaches essential. Brides wishing to create a memorable, budget friendly wedding can gather great ideas and find professional assistance at this year’s Central Texas Wedding Expo (CTWExpo).

CTWExpo will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Tarleton State University’s Barry B. Thompson Student Center ballroom. Admission is $5 per person and $2 for children under 12.

Featured Stephenville vendors at this year’s CTWExpo include Lisa Rose of Scentsy, Jenny Iley of Mary Kay, Andrea Morris of Thirty-One, Aly Jackson of Grand Rental Station, Sheridan Hodge of It Works! Global, Kelijon Nance of Those Girls Event Design, Raiford Ramirez of Alphagraphics, Nicole Hengst of Advocare, and Gay Wakefield of Tarleton’s Legendary Weddings & Special Events.

“Unlike massive exhibit-hall bridal fairs that create a carnival atmosphere and are known in the wedding industry as ‘cattle calls,’ Central Texas Wedding Expo treats couples and their wedding parties to a relaxed, fun, boutique experience, and the chance to win a grand-prize ‘Legend of Gentility’ wedding at the Chapel on the Bosque,” according to Dr. Gay Wakefield, associate professor and coordinator of the Public Relations and Event Management program at Tarleton State University.
