Stephenville police are still searching for two suspects who robbed BalMex Video and held an employee and another individual at gunpoint earlier this month.

"There are no leads at this time and the case is still under investigation," Lt. Doug McClammy said Tuesday.

Police received a call just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, reporting the armed robbery. When they arrived at the scene, they learned that an employee and her friend had just closed the store and locked the front door when two men broke the glass door and entered the building.

The suspects were reportedly wearing black masks and dark clothing. One of the suspects was wearing a camouflage jacket. Both reportedly spoke in Spanish and English.

"The robbers held the employee and her friend at gunpoint while they stole cash and jewelry from the store," said Lt. Doug McClammy. "The robbers left the business through the broken front door in an unknown direction."

Erath County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case. Anyone with information should call 254-965-CASH. Callers can remain anonymous.
