A man accused of exposing himself to young girls will head to court this week.
Jury selection in the trial of Joseph Lee Garner, 23, will begin Tuesday and is expected to last at least three days, according to District Attorney Alan Nash.
Garner was arrested twice in one week in February when he was first accused of failure to register as a sex offender, followed by two counts of indecency with a child by exposure.
He was ordered to register as a sex offender stemming from three convictions for indecent exposure in Alavardo, Houston and Galveston. At the time of his arrest, Garner's address was listed in the 1100 block of Frey Street in Stephenville.
Law enforcement officials began investigating Garner when a mother reported his suspicious activities in a rural neighborhood on County Road 351.
He is being held in the Erath County Jail on a $400,000 bond.
The E-T will cover the trial beginning Tuesday.
