A man accused of opening fire inside an Allsups Convenience store in Stephenville in June has been indicted by an Erath County grand jury.

Joshua Brian Fritz, 29, was indicted for aggravated robbery, a first degree felony, attempting to take a weapon from an officer, a state jail felony, and deadly conduct, a third degree felony.

If convicted, he faces five years to life in a state penitentiary.

Fritz was arrested on the afternoon of June 10 moments after firing several rounds inside Allsups located on the NW Loop.

He then ran outside where he fired several more shots into two 18-wheelers in the parking lot.

No one was injured.

Witnesses helped police subdue Fritz and take him into custody.

Fritz remains incarcerated in the Erath County Jail held on a combined bond of $700,000. He is being represented by Stephenville attorney Garry Lewellen.

District Attorney Alan Nash said Wednesday that a trial date has not been set.

Also indicted was a man accused of sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl.

Marvin Lee Wysong Jr., 28, was indicted for aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first degree felony. If convicted, he also faces five years to life in a state penitentiary.

Wysong was arrested in May for the alleged incident that occurred April 30.

He remains in the Erath County Jail held on a $50,000 bond.

Margarita Vill Almaguer, 25, driving while intoxicated (with child passenger), a state jail felony.

David Lyle Batchelor, 18, burglary of a habitation, a second degree felony.

Charles Sidney Doane, 51, assault (family violence), a third degree felony.

David Shane Filio, 23, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (enhanced), a first degree felony.

Garrick Anthony Hicks, 22, possession of a substance in penalty group 1 and possession of marijuana, state jail felonies.

Isidro Tyrone Hulin, 26, sexual assault of a child, a second degree felony.

Kristal Lynn Jones, 28, possession of a substance in penalty group 1, a state jail felony.

Timothy James Pannell, 24, possession of a substance in penalty group 1, a third degree felony.

Michael Wayne Reno, age unavailable, possession of a substance in penalty group 1, a state jail felony.

Valentino Joaquin Ruiz, 25, failure to comply with registration requirements, a third degree felony.

Julian Sanchez, 49, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony.
