Several items of civic interest are on the agenda for Tuesday's regularly scheduled city council business meeting.
In addition to a variety of finance reports to be presented, further discussions related to city planning and development will be held.
“We will be hearing from committee efforts to begin looking at major priorities as we head into budget discussions next year,” Mayor Kenny Weldon said.
Weldon was excited about an upcoming presentation to be given by Johnson Controls in regard to advanced metering.
“Johnson Controls is looking at a way to replace our metering that is in very bad condition,” he said. “It could potentially save money and be more effective.”
The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
