It takes a lot of guts to steal a flat screen TV from a busy store, but that's exactly what police allege happened at WalMart on Sunday.

The store's loss prevention employees were reviewing surveillance video when they spotted a white male and white female exiting the store about 4 p.m. Sunday with a 55-inch Vizio television, according to Lt. Doug McClammy with the Stephenville Police Department.

"The suspects made no attempt to pay for the television prior to leaving the store," McClammy said.

The couple reportedly loaded up the TV in a maroon and silver Chevrolet Suburban and drove away.

Police are asking the public's help in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information about the case can call Crime Stoppers at 965-CASH.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. Callers will not be asked their name and can remain anonymous.
