Months of campaigning will come to an end Tuesday for most candidates running for a variety of local offices. Tuesday's outcome will determine the winner in several key races including the office of sheriff, constables and commissioners.

It will also determine which Republican will move in to the November general election, including the race for state representative.

The Empire-Tribune staff will be at the Erath County Courthouse as returns come in. Results will be posted online immediately at yourstephenvilletx.com.

Polls will be open during Tuesday's primary election from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Residents casting a ballot in county, state and federal races must vote in their designated precincts.

Polling precincts are as follows: Precincts 10, 12, 23 and 24 -TexasBank; Precincts 11, 18 and 19 - United Coop; Precincts 33, 32 and 35 - Erath County Courthouse; Precincts 45, 46 and 47 - Century Link Telephone Office; Precincts 20 and 21 - First National Bank Dublin; Precinct 44 - Huckabay School; Precinct 31 - Selden Community Center; Precincts 30 and 41 - Morgan Mill Community Center; Precinct 25 - Lingleville School; and Precinct 34 - Bluff Dale Fire Department.
