From football, basketball and baseball to history, art and theater, organizations across Erath County are offering a full slate of camps to keep your children busy this summer. E-T staffers have complied a healthy sampling of fun and games for them to enjoy.

Honeybee basketball

Stephenville High School's Honeybee basketball camp will be held 9 a.m.-noon for children in the first-fifth grade in the 2011-12 school year and 1-4 p.m. for children in sixth-ninth grade. The cost for the camp held at Henderson Junior High is $50. Contact Alan Thorpe or Kristi Mayes at 552-6504.

May 31-June 2

Summer Fun Football

This camp will be held at the SHS practice fields from 8-11:30 a.m. for ages 6-10 and 1-4:30 p.m. for ages 11-incoming 8th.

June 4-6

Tumble Camp

Texas Twisters will host Tumble Camp 8-11 a.m. for children ages three and older. Cost is $60 and $45 for siblings. Call 968-3547.

June 4-7

Honeybee volleyball

Stephenville ISD will host Honeybee volleyball camp from 9 a.m.-noon for seventh-ninth grade students and 1-3 p.m. for fourth-sixth graders. Cost is $45-$55. Pre-registration is due by June 1 and walk-ins are welcomed. Camp will be held in the Henderson Junior High gym. Call SHS athletic office at 552-6417.

Yellow Jacket basketball

Stephenville High School's Yellow Jacket basketball team will host camp for students who will be in first-ninth grade in the fall. Camp will be held 9 a.m.-noon in the high school gym. Cost is $50 per student. Call SHS athletic office at 552-6417.

SISD visual and performing arts

Visual and performing arts camp will be held at SHS. Campers will paint sets, sew costumes, create a memory book along with other artistic and performance activities. Texan football fundamentals

Children five to 12 are invited to join the Texan football team and coaches at fundamentals camp. Registration is $125 with a $50 deposit required to hold your child's spot. For more information, visit tarletonsports.com or call 968-9518.

Stephenville Dance Center

Five and six year olds are invited to Fairy Ballet Camp from 10 a.m.-11:30. Cost is $75 per child. Children seven and older are invited to Musical Theater camp from 1-3 p.m. at a cost of $100 per child. Technique Dance camps will also be offered for three age groups through the month of June. SPARD art

Stephenville Parks and Recreation Department will host summer art class from 8 a.m. - noon. Cost is $35 per student. Registration deadline is Friday, May 25. Call 918-1295.

TexAnn fundamentals camp

Fourth-twelfth graders are invited to join the reigning Lone Star Conference champion Tarleton TexAnns for fundamentals camp at Wisdom Gym. Cost is $295 for overnighters and $200 for commuters. Band camp

Tarleton State University is hosting Junior High Band Camp offering band classes and supervised activities. Cost is $205 for commuters and $295 for campers staying on campus. Call 968-9617.

Camp Pioneer

Camp Pioneer will be held at the Stephenville Museum grounds for kids entering second-fifth grades. Camp will be held 9 a.m.-noon daily. This year's theme will be Native Americans. Cost is $50 per child. Call 965-5880.

Baseball camp

Stephenville Yellow Jacket baseball camp will be held 8:30-11 a.m. for incoming second-fifth grade students and noon-2:30 p.m. for incoming sixth-ninth graders. Cost is $60 per participants and includes a T-shirt. Camp will be held at the James T. Young Baseball Field at the high school. Pre-registration deadline is June 9, but walk-ins are welcome. Gymnastics Camp

STEAM Camp

Dublin ISD will host its first STEAM Camp, which exposes participants to a variety of real world scenarios in the science, technology, engineering, art and math career fields. Students will travel to NASA headquarters in Houston, explore LEGO's Green City Challenge and engage with professionals in STEAM-related fields. The free camp is open to fourth through eighth grade students at DISD and the application is available on the school's website and at the intermediate school.

June 12-14

Softball Camp

Honeybee softball camp will be held 9-11:30 a.m. for participants in first-fifth grades and 1:30-4 p.m. for sixth-twelfth graders. The camp will beheld at McCleskey Field at Stephenville City Park. Kevin Kolb Football Camp

Bruner Motors and Stephenville High School will host a day of professional league football action with Arizona Cardinal Quarterback and former Yellow Jacket Kevin Kolb. The camp will be held 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The camp is free with a suggested $25 donation to Erath County United Way. Only 80 spots area available, register your child, fourth-sixth grade, at Bruner GM by June 14.

CTFAC Art Camp

Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council will host Art Camp under the direction of Liz Meiron, Gilbert Intermediate art yeacher and Misti Schultz, Henderson Junior High Art Teacher. Camp will be held 9:30-11:30 a.m. for ages 5-10 and 2 – 4 p.m. for ages 11 and older. Texan Air Raid Camp

Texan Football invited all skill level position players in eighth-twelfth grade. Campers should arrive between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, and departure will be at noon on Saturday, July 14. A $100 deposit is required, and the total cost is $275. Broadway Boot Camp

Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council will host Broadway Boot Camp under the direction of instructors Mica Hassler Parsons, junior high theater teacher, and Arielle Sword, junior high choir teacher. Camp will be held from 9 a.m. – noon for ages 5 to 10 and 1-4 p.m. for ages 11 and older. Freshman football

Stephenville Yellow Jackets will host freshman football camp from 8-10 a.m. at a cost of $20 per participant. The camp allows varsity and sub-varsity coaches an opportunity to work with incoming freshmen one week prior to the beginning of two-a-days. Equipment will be handed out at the completion of camp. Boy Scouts host Survivor Camp
