Russell Cole, a former football standout for the Stephenville Yellow Jackets, turned himself into authorities Wednesday morning.
Cole, 19, was wanted on three counts of assault with bodily injury and interfering with an emergency call. He allegedly assaulted his half-brother, Joshua Lloyd Peery, 23, also of Stephenville, twice in two days.
The first assault allegedly occurred on Sunday and the second occurred Monday, when Cole reportedly hit the victim with a baseball bat.
Lt. Doug McClammy said authorities had been searching for Cole after he fled the scene.
Cole is being held at the Erath County Jail. Bond has not been set.
