Teha Lanna Chapter NSDAR met at noon on May 15 at the Agave.

After lunch, a brief meeting was called to order by Regent Dottie Corbin. Charlene Moser read the National Defense Report regarding the importance of voting in the November election.

Eloise Horak was presented a laminated copy of a newspaper article featuring her nomination for the Community Service Award. Elizabeth Cook collected dues from attending members.

Mary Jane Blakley conducted the installation of officers elected to serve the Teha Lanna Chapter NSDAR from 2012-2014.

Chapter members attending were Nelda Masey, Eloise Horak, Charlene Moser, Elizabeth Cook, Karley Goen, Melinda Hammonds, Anita Lane, Mary Curtis, Mary Jane Blakley, Dottie Corbin and Dianne Day. Guests were Tonya Dobson and prospective member, Sherry Morgan.

The Chapter will not meet during the summer and will resume Sept. 18. The program will feature Ways to Support Your Military presented by Joyce Leidig of Brownwood. Daughters o f the American Revolution are dedicated to the promotion of historic preservation, education and patriotism.
